We are seeking an experienced and senior Corporate Audio Visual business development manager to lead the growth in this region through proactive customer engagement.

AVT Solutions and its offered services are technical in nature, thus applicants must have previous experience within unified communications and/or audio visual industries.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Create high quality proposals through interaction with the pre-sales team.

  • Maintain good knowledge of the corporate AV market vertical in terms of customer requirements and industry trends.

  • Liaise with suppliers to maintain knowledge of solutions and industry trends.

  • General management of the business development process, such as prospecting and lead generation, developing trusted relationships, and converting sales in order to meet revenue and GP targets.

  • Management of the sales process, from signing to commissioning.

  • Preparation of pipeline and forecasting reports.

Requirements:


  • Working knowledge of audio visual, video conferencing, IT, networking and computing technologies.

  • Fluent in costing and pricing methodologies.

  • Experience in forecast and pipeline management.

  • Proven ability to close and maintain relationships with corporate customers.

We are seeking a technical manager to be based in Gauteng.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Set and monitor the achievement of goals for the region.

  • Provide training to staff in regard to technical operations and policies.

  • Remain on the forefront of emerging industry practices.

  • Schedule, supervise and motivate branch staff in an effort to maintain optimal customer service satisfaction levels.

  • Assist in evaluating staff’s work performance by helping to prepare and deliver annual reviews and preforming coaching sessions. Recommend training where needed.

  • Manage the development of the team by ensuring that project tasks are in line with each member’s career interests when possible.

  • Monitor the quality of customer service and ensure that employees are maximizing opportunities to improve and sell service offerings.

  • Keep the project manager informed of the status of the design process and serve as a liaison between technical staff and the project manager.

  • Manage technical resources within the budget and project schedule.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.

  • 5 years’ minimum experience in architecting, designing and developing products or system.

  • Knowledge in software and utilization of industry platforms.

  • Project management skills.

  • Attention to details is expected.

  • Excellence in written, oral communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work within a team.

We are seeking a solution architect to join our corporate audio visual team in Gauteng, to guide technical competence and support the sales team. A proven track record in large audio visual projects will be advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Attend customer meetings and build value-added relationships from initial engagement through to sign-off, built on a consultative approach to engagement.

  • Guide system design and product selection.

  • Manage staff technical capabilities and competence through proactive training programmes.

  • Proactive problem solving and managed escalation on technical issues.

Requirements:

This is a reasonably technical post and candidates must have a feel for electronic systems in terms of design and implementation. The successful candidate will have experience in most of the following:


  • Advanced audio visual, unified communication (video conferencing, voice and VMR) and networking experience and qualifications.

  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages used audio visual products such as Crestron, AMX, Kramer and Extron.

  • Costing and proposal experience for large projects.

  • Knowledge of project management techniques.

Digital Signage

We are seeking a digital signage business development manager to lead the growth nationally through proactive customer engagement. The candidate should be able to hunt for new business within enterprise and small to medium business targets across multiple markets and develop new client relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for prospecting and developing relationships with c-level purchasing executives in order to market and sell digital signage equipment and accessories.

  • Implement a top-down digital signage sales approach targeting CEOs, CFOs, procurement, marketing, and facilities directors to convert prospects into clients.

  • Supply product information to selected customers in an assigned territory and/or arrange for business analyses of customer’s business communication requirements and develop benchmark demonstrations, proposals and value propositions that exceed customers’ requirements resulting in the development of new customers and the retention of existing accounts.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all digital signage sales paperwork for customer orders.

  • Work closely with Seartec sales representatives to identify digital signage opportunities within the current Seartec customer base.

  • Promote digital signage products and represent the company at off-site customer meetings, trade shows and conferences.

  • Maintain records of all account activity within the sales database.
